About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled WordPress developer to join our team. As a solo entrepreneur managing an agency and soon launching a web hosting company, I need a reliable partner who can help manage and develop WordPress projects. This role offers significant growth opportunities, including increased pay and a higher position within the company as it expands.

Required Skills:

    WordPress/WooCommerce Mastery:
        Deep expertise in WordPress and WooCommerce, including setup, configuration, and customization.

    Custom Development:
        Ability to develop custom WordPress plugins and themes to meet specific client requirements.

    Technical Proficiency:
        Strong command of PHP, MySQL, and databases.
        Knowledge of WordPress coding standards and best practices.
        Proficiency in WordPress functions, queries, actions, and filter hooks.

    Hosting and Server Management:
        Familiarity with common web hosting stacks (cPanel, NGINX, Apache, MySQL, etc.).
        Knowledge of the Linux command line (SSH) including WP-CLI for efficient site management and troubleshooting.

    Troubleshooting Expertise:
        Extensive experience in diagnosing and fixing WordPress issues quickly and efficiently.

    Advanced Technical Skills:
        Knowledge of Cloudflare and advanced DNS, Redis, CDN, WAF, and page caching is a significant plus.

Responsibilities:

    Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites for clients.
    Create custom plugins and themes tailored to specific needs.
    Manage and optimize hosting environments for performance and security.
    Quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues on client websites.
    Implement best practices for website performance, security, and scalability.
    Collaborate with the founder to align development work with business goals.

Qualifications:

    Proven experience as a WordPress developer, with a strong portfolio of past work.
    In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the founder and potential clients.
    Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Candidates:

    Freelancers from Ukraine or Europe are highly preferred, but all skilled candidates are welcome to apply.
