Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and skilled AR developer to design an Augmented Reality (AR) filter for an interactive museum experience in Amsterdam. The filter will allow visitors to virtually try on traditional Dutch costumes for both men and women, providing an engaging way to enhance cultural appreciation and interaction.

The AR feature will be displayed on an iPad mounted in a wall frame. Visitors can view themselves in the costumes in real-time, even in a low-light environment, and will have the option to share their photos with a museum-branded stamp.
Responsibilities:

    Design and Develop the AR Filter: Create an intuitive and high-quality AR experience that showcases traditional Dutch costumes.
    Lighting Optimization: Ensure the filter performs seamlessly in low-light conditions.
    Software Selection: Recommend and utilize the best AR development software/platform for this project (e.g., Spark AR, Unity with Vuforia, or similar).
    User Experience: Build the system to function without user interaction, providing an easy and straightforward experience for visitors.
    Photo Sharing Feature: Implement a feature that allows visitors to take a photo with a museum-branded stamp and share it via email or QR code.
    Testing and Maintenance: Test the AR filter on-site and provide support for adjustments if needed.

Requirements:

    Proven experience in AR development using platforms like Spark AR, Lens Studio, or Unity.
    Strong understanding of costume design and cultural representation.
    Expertise in creating AR experiences that work well in low-light environments.
    Knowledge of implementing photo-sharing functionality.
    Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for merging technology with culture.
    Ability to provide post-launch support if required.

Preferred Software for Development:

    Spark AR: Suitable for iPad and photo-sharing features, especially for a straightforward setup.
    Unity + Vuforia or ARKit: For more customized and powerful AR experiences.
    8thWall: For seamless integration with browsers if a web-based solution is considered.
