Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to build and manage our brand's presence across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Pinterest. This role focuses on engaging and reaching our target audience, particularly Gen Z, through innovative and value-driven content.
As we offer sustainably sourced, plant-based false eyelashes and plan to expand into other regions, this role provides an exciting opportunity to shape and grow our brand’s online identity. We are looking for a long-term team member who will grow with us, with promotions and raises tied to the success of our social media presence and advertising campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Account Management:
Assist in the creation and setup of social media accounts on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Pinterest.
Develop and execute strategies to grow the brand’s presence on these platforms.
Create consistent, educational, and community-driven content aligned with our brand values and target audience.
Manage and oversee paid advertising campaigns on platforms including Pinterest, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, and Google Ads.
Develop an understanding of various ad-related social platforms like YouTube Affiliate Marketing, TikTok Creative Center, Google Performance Max, GMV Max, Spark Ads, and Facebook Advantage Plus to drive sales.
Engage with comments and inquiries on social media, and manage negative or harmful engagement.
Content Planning and Creation:
Develop monthly content calendars for a high volume of engaging and shareable content.
Create and edit educational, authentic, and value-driven content, including short-form videos, product reviews, static photos, and user-generated content (UGC).
Perform A/B testing on ads and promotions for Meta Suite (Facebook, Instagram), Pinterest, and TikTok.
Utilize insights from Facebook Ads Library and Google Ads Transparency Library for inspiration.
Influencer Engagement:
Identify and engage 100 nano influencers aligned with the brand’s values and aesthetic.
Manage the distribution of 50-100 PR packages with affiliate links to boost brand visibility and drive sales.
Reporting and Analysis:
Pull and analyze ad performance reports, follower statistics, and other relevant metrics.
Evaluate the performance of ads and content to refine strategies.
Analyze creator affiliate performance by evaluating conversion rates (CVR).
Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing social media platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Pinterest.
Strong understanding of Gen Z audience behavior and trends.
Excellent content creation skills, including video editing and graphic design.
Experience with paid social media advertising and A/B testing.
Strong communication, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with influencer marketing and PR package management.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
