We are seeking a talented and experienced freelancer to develop a robust mobile application and an associated web portal designed to collect and visualize data on marine life and environmental conditions. The application will enable users to capture data through text input, images, and GPS tracking, which will then be stored in a cloud database and accessed via a web portal.

Mobile Application

Main Functions:

    Data Collection:
        Manual input: Allow users to record sightings of various species and environmental conditions using dropdown lists.
        Camera capture: Enable users to take photos of sightings and incidents.
        GPS tracking: Automatically capture the location of each sighting/event.

Web Portal

Key Features:

    Data Visualization:
        Display collected data using GIS mapping.
        Use filters and overlays to sort data by species, type of sighting, and other parameters.
        Generate heat maps for numerous sightings of specific species.
    User Authentication:
        Secure login system to ensure only authorized users can access the data.
    Data Filtering:
        Sort and filter data based on various parameters to streamline analysis and reporting.

Additional Criteria

    App Specifics:
        Sighting Recording: Include up to 15 different genres of sightings, such as vessel behavior, pollution, fish species, shoreline development, etc.
        GPS Integration: Display each sighting/event on a GIS map of specific Caribbean islands.
        Daily Data Upload: Ensure data from the cloud is uploaded to the portal daily.
        Event Details: Display events as dots on the map, with drill-down capabilities to view underlying data and reports.
        Heat Maps: Generate heat maps for numerous sightings of specific species using GIS.

    Mobile App Development: Proven experience in developing mobile applications focused on data collection.
    Web Portal Development: Skills in creating interactive web portals.
