We are seeking a talented Character Artist to help define the visual style for our animated comedy show, focusing on quirky, fish-themed characters with a DIRTY and edgy vibe. Our humor is in the vein of Rick and Morty, Adventure Time, and South Park, so the design style should align with this irreverent, offbeat, and highly distinctive tone.

This project offers the potential for consistent work as we develop the show, so we’re excited to find someone who loves creating unique characters and can bring their vision to life!
Responsibilities:

    Collaborate with our team to develop and refine a distinct, "dirty" style for the show.
    Design and illustrate fish and other characters that are quirky, edgy, and comedic.
    Deliver all final characters in VECTOR format for animation compatibility.
    Work iteratively with feedback to align the art style with our creative direction.

Qualifications:

    Proven experience in character design, preferably for animation or comedic projects.
    Proficiency in vector-based tools like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Animate, or similar software.
    A strong portfolio showcasing unique, bold, and humorous character designs.
    Understanding of the visual humor styles of Rick and Morty, Adventure Time, and South Park.
    Excellent communication and ability to collaborate on creative vision.

Preferred Skills:

    Experience in designing for animated shows or comedic media.
    Familiarity with producing character turnarounds and expressions for animation pipelines.
    Ability to adapt to feedback and work within tight deadlines.
