Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will initially assist with organizing financial records and maintaining accurate bookkeeping for our company. Over time, this position offers the opportunity to manage the financial operations of 3-4 companies internally, working closely with the owner to ensure all financial matters are efficiently and accurately managed.

Key Responsibilities:

    Assist in organizing and maintaining financial records.
    Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and reconciliation.
    Prepare and maintain financial reports and statements.
    Collaborate on financial planning and budgeting.
    Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
    Assist with payroll processing.
    Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
    Work directly with the owner to streamline financial processes across multiple businesses.
    Maintain the confidentiality of all financial data.

Qualifications:

    Experience with bookkeeping and accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero).
    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
