Project Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Python developer to automate data retrieval and analysis for a flood and natural disaster risk assessment project. The work involves using APIs and web scraping to integrate location-specific plot data with broader geographic risk information.
Key Responsibilities:

    Automation of Data Retrieval:
        Develop Python scripts to extract plot data from Perceelloep (or a similar platform).
        Automate the addition of map layers and JSON data extraction using Atlas Leefomgeving and Klimaateffectatlas APIs.

    Data Processing & Analysis:
        Overlay plot-specific data with map layers for detailed risk assessments.
        Capture screenshots and organize JSON data for each location analysis.

    Documentation & Testing:
        Create documentation and guides for script use.
        Implement unit tests and an optional CI/CD pipeline for testing script functionality.

Skills Required:

    Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, with experience in API integration and web scraping.
    GIS Tools: Familiarity with Geographic Information System (GIS) tools and map data.
    Data Workflow Automation: Proven experience in automating data workflows, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
    Testing & Documentation: Ability to write clear documentation and develop testing protocols for code reliability.

Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience working on projects related to environmental science, disaster management, or geographic risk assessment.
    Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks relevant to data analysis (e.g., Pandas, Num Py).
    Familiarity with cloud platforms for deployment and data storage (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
