Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced tax professional to assist with the preparation and filing of an individual tax return for the current tax year. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax regulations and be able to efficiently navigate complex tax situations.
Scope of Work:

    Document Review and Analysis:
        Review and analyze all relevant financial documents, including W-2s, 1099s, and other income statements.
        Ensure accurate documentation of all financial activities.

    Tax Preparation and Filing:
        Prepare and file federal and state tax returns.
        Ensure all eligible deductions and credits are accurately applied.

    Tax Planning and Advice:
        Provide advice on tax planning strategies and potential tax-saving opportunities.
        Offer insights into tax implications of financial decisions.

    Client Communication:
        Address any questions or concerns throughout the process.
        Provide clear explanations and guidance on tax-related matters.

Qualifications:

    Proven Experience:
        Significant experience in tax preparation and filing for individuals.
        Deep understanding of federal and state tax regulations.

    Expertise in Complex Tax Situations:
        Ability to handle complex tax scenarios and provide effective solutions.

    Attention to Detail:
        Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all filings and calculations.

    Communication Skills:
        Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear explanations and guidance.

    Certifications:
        Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or other relevant tax certifications are preferred but not required.
