Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Server Developer with expertise in advanced T-SQL development, performance optimization, and process automation. The ideal candidate will excel in developing solutions for complex data manipulation, automating processes, and ensuring data validation and notification management. This role involves identifying performance bottlenecks, implementing optimization techniques, and ensuring high-efficiency automation across our SQL Server environment.

Responsibilities:

    Review and optimize existing T-SQL procedures to improve performance and efficiency.
    Refactor complex query logic using advanced set-based approaches to enhance processing speed and resource utilization.
    Automate daily tasks and processes using SQL Server Agent, ensuring reliability and minimal overhead.
    Configure and manage Database Mail and automated notifications for critical tasks.
    Monitor scheduled jobs, ensuring they run smoothly with minimal failures and downtime.
    Troubleshoot performance issues and implement best practices for query optimization and tuning.

Required Expertise:

    Advanced proficiency in T-SQL, with experience in automating processes using stored procedures and functions.
    Strong experience working with SQL Server Agent and Database Mail for automation and notification management.
    Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and implementing alternatives to cursors.
    Solid understanding of indexing strategies, execution plans, and handling large datasets efficiently.

Additional Knowledge (Preferred):

    Familiarity with dynamic SQL techniques for flexible and scalable solutions.
    Experience with SQL Profiler and other performance monitoring tools for identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
