We are currently seeking a skilled Web Developer specializing in WordPress and Shopify to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both back-end and front-end development, with experience building and maintaining eCommerce websites from concept to completion.

Role Description:

As a Web Developer, you will work closely with our Web Designers to translate design specifications into fully functional websites. You will be responsible for writing efficient, well-designed code, implementing and maintaining Shopify pages, ensuring proper functionality and responsiveness across all web properties, and communicating effectively to meet project deadlines.

Principal Responsibilities:

    Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using best software development practices.
    Implement and maintain Shopify pages to ensure proper functionality and performance.
    Daily maintenance of all web properties, including pages, images, text, etc.
    Create websites using industry-standard HTML/CSS practices and ensure proper view and responsiveness across all browsers and devices.
    Communicate effectively with team members to develop and deploy website content within specified timeframes.
    Implement contingency and optimization plans to improve website performance and user experience.

Requirements:

    Proven work experience as a WordPress and Shopify Developer.
    Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML/HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
    Experience with interacting with RESTful APIs and formats such as JSON and XML.
    Ability to translate design files (e.g., Photoshop Files) into working web pages.
    Strong background in PHP back-end development.
    Eye for design elements such as padding, text hierarchy, and alignment.
    Ability to multitask and meet strict time constraints and objectives.
    Excellent communication skills.
