Project Overview:
We are looking for a talented 3D designer to create a stylish and functional enclosure for housing GPS/GNSS antennas and electronics. The initial design will serve as a presentation mock up, with future iterations focusing on internal components, sockets, and IP65 protection. This is a great opportunity for a creative product designer with experience in 3D printing, electronics enclosures, and product design.
Responsibilities:
3D Design: Create a printable 3D model of an enclosure box (approximately 20×15×5 cm) with:
Space for GPS/GNSS antennas and electronic components.
Dedicated sockets for various connectors.
Room for a small solar panel on the top.
Mockup & Presentation Ready: Ensure the design is visually impressive for trade shows and presentations.
Future Modifications: If successful, the project may expand to include:
Designing interiors for specific electronics and socket connections.
Achieving IP65 protection and creating variants for a potential product line.
Requirements:
3D Modeling Expertise: Proficient in CAD software to create high-quality, detailed models.
Product Design Experience: Ability to create functional, aesthetic designs suitable for 3D printing.
Knowledge of 3D Printing Specifications: Understanding of 3D printing requirements for a clean, precise final product.
Attention to Detail: Ability to design for real-world application with electronics and connectors in mind.
Deliverables:
3D Printable CAD File: Ready for prototype printing.
Hi-Res Images & Video: Showcase the product from multiple angles for presentations.
Optional Printing: 3D printing and shipping negotiable if you have the equipment.
