Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled sketch artist to join our team for an exciting 3D animation film project. The artist will be responsible for sketching and coloring characters and environments, working closely with the art director and other artists to establish the artistic direction, mood, and overall look of the film. This includes creating digital props and backgrounds that make up the environment where characters interact.

Key Responsibilities:

    Character Sketching: Create detailed sketches and color characters based on the script and art director’s vision.
    Environment Design: Design and color environments, establishing the artistic direction, mood, and overall look.
    Collaboration: Work closely with the art director and other artists to ensure a cohesive artistic vision.
    Digital Props: Create digital props and backgrounds to enhance scenes where characters interact.
    Artistic Direction: Contribute to the establishment of the overall visual style and artistic direction of the film.

Skills Required:

    Sketching and Coloring: Proficient in sketching and coloring techniques.
    3D Animation Knowledge: Understanding of 3D animation processes and how sketches translate into 3D models.
    Artistic Creativity: Strong creative vision and ability to conceptualize and execute artistic ideas.
    Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with a team of artists and directors.
    Software Proficiency: Proficient in digital art software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchBook).

Qualifications:

    Experience: Previous experience in sketching for animation films or related projects.
    Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing character sketches, environment designs, and digital props.
    Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey artistic ideas and collaborate with the team.
