We are seeking two dedicated Virtual Medical Office Assistants to join our team and help us continue to provide world-class service.
Job Summary:

The Virtual Medical Office Assistant will play a crucial role in our daily operations, focusing on managing new patient intake, maintaining medical records, and assisting with various tasks as assigned. This is a full-time, remote position requiring excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities:

    Patient Interaction:
        Answer incoming phone calls from new patients.
        Provide information on our services.
        Schedule initial consultations.

    Medical Records Management:
        Collect and securely store digital medical information while ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
        Update and maintain the electronic health record system with up-to-date patient information.

    Communication Facilitation:
        Facilitate communication between patients and medical office staff to ensure seamless delivery of care.
        Coordinate with external medical facilities for record transfers.

    Administrative Tasks:
        Perform data entry and maintain medical records.
        Assist with pre-certification and prior authorization processes.
        Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Office Manager or medical staff.

Qualifications:

    Previous experience in a medical office setting is required.
    Previous experience with pre-certification/prior authorization is encouraged.
    Proficiency with electronic medical record software and Google Mail.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
    Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
    Understanding of medical terminology is preferred.
    Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
