Position Overview:
The Insurance Claims Specialist will be responsible for filing and managing insurance claims, particularly focusing on auto and health insurance. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in dealing with insurance companies, an eye for detail, and strong research skills. This role requires the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to ensure the efficient progression of cases.

Key Responsibilities:

    Claims Management:
        File and manage auto and health insurance claims.
        Ensure all claims are filed accurately and in a timely manner.
        Follow up on claim statuses and liaise with insurance companies to resolve any issues.

    Documentation and Records:
        Maintain detailed and organized records of all claims and related correspondence.
        Prepare necessary documentation for claims submission and case advancement.

    Communication:
        Communicate effectively with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
        Provide updates on claim statuses to the Pre Lit Department and clients.

    Research:
        Conduct thorough research to support claims and case progression.
        Identify any discrepancies or additional information needed for claims.

    Task Prioritization:
        Prioritize tasks efficiently to ensure timely advancement of Personal Injury cases.
        Work closely with the Pre Lit Department to align priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications:

    Experience:
        Proven experience in filing and managing insurance claims, specifically auto and health insurance.
        Background in dealing with insurance companies and understanding their processes.

    Skills:
        Exceptional attention to detail.
        Strong research and analytical skills.
        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
        Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work under pressure.

    Preferred Qualifications:
        Experience in a Personal Injury law firm or related field.
        Familiarity with legal and medical terminology.
