Location: Remote with testing on Greece mobile operator (Lily Mobile)
Project Overview:
We are seeking a Manual Tester with experience in web application testing and telco SMS testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end testing of our subscription and unsubscription process, including SMS-based user flows, web portal accessibility, and subscription cancellation functionalities. Familiarity with web-based testing, SMS integration testing, and screen recording for documentation is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Testing:
Perform comprehensive manual testing of the subscription flow, starting with SMS-based registration, navigating through the web portal, and unsubscribing via SMS.
Web Portal Testing:
Test the web portal for UI/UX consistency, page load times, and responsiveness across devices.
Identify, document, and track web portal bugs, inconsistencies, or functional issues.
SMS-Based Testing:
Test SMS-based functionalities (subscription and unsubscription) with Lily Mobile in Greece.
Verify SMS delivery, response times, and accuracy of messages received.
Ensure that SMS triggers work as expected and validate the message flow.
Documentation and Reporting:
Document each test case, outlining expected versus actual results, and log any issues or bugs encountered.
Use screen recording tools to capture each test flow for review and reference.
Work closely with developers to report and resolve issues, and retest as needed.
Requirements:
Experience in Manual Testing:
Proven experience in manual testing of web applications, preferably with experience in subscription-based services.
Telecom Testing Skills:
Experience testing SMS functionalities, especially with telecom services or mobile operators.
Understanding of SMS-based triggers, message flow, and error handling.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with screen recording tools for documenting test processes.
Knowledge of Webflow is a plus, as well as experience in testing mobile-responsive web applications.
Attention to Detail:
Ability to detect inconsistencies and errors, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior Experience with Tel co Services:
Experience working with or testing telecom services is highly preferred.
Experience with Web Portals and Subscription Testing:
Understanding of end-to-end subscription and un subscription workflows in web-based environments.
