About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Engineer to lead our performance analysis and data strategy initiatives. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping our data infrastructure, empowering decision-making, and driving the success of various teams through advanced data insights.
This role also involves managing the Analytics and Testing department, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact tasks, comprehensive documentation, and effective distribution of insights.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Engineering & Modeling:
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes with tools like Stitch, dbt, and Google Cloud Functions.
Develop scalable data models and manage the data warehouse in Google BigQuery.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability across systems.
2. Data Analysis & Strategy:
Analyze large datasets to uncover trends and insights that drive business decisions.
Build and maintain dashboards with tools like Looker Studio and Metorik.
Design and execute A/B tests and experiments to support growth and product improvements.
3. Statistical Modeling & Machine Learning:
Develop statistical models and implement machine learning algorithms for business challenges.
Utilize Python and SQL for advanced data manipulation and analysis.
Integrate AI-driven processes to enhance operations and product offerings.
4. Collaboration & Communication:
Partner with stakeholders across teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Automate reporting and data workflows with tools like Zapier and Google Tag Manager.
Deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
5. Tool & Platform Management:
Manage web analytics platforms like GA4, VWO, and Microsoft Clarity.
Stay informed on emerging trends in analytics, data engineering, and AI.
What We're Looking For
3–5 years of experience in data engineering, modeling, and analysis.
Proficiency in:
Python for statistical modeling.
SQL for querying and data manipulation.
Data warehousing with Google BigQuery.
ETL tools like Stitch and dbt.
BI tools such as Looker Studio.
Web analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, VWO, Zapier).
Strong understanding of product metrics (e.g., LTV, CAC, churn) and marketing performance metrics.
Familiarity with financial analysis and projections is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a remote and fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree or higher.
