We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Server-Side Tracking Expert to enhance our Google Ads campaigns through the implementation of server-side tracking methods. Our current reliance on front-end lead data has proven to be less effective, especially in light of iOS privacy rules, which hinder the flow of data from iOS users to our Google Ads dashboard. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing our tracking and data collection processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation of Server-Side Tracking: Design and implement a robust server-side tracking system to efficiently capture and transmit lead data to Google Ads.
Integration with Existing Systems: Work closely with our development team to integrate server-side tracking into our current architecture, ensuring seamless data flow and compatibility.
Data Management: Analyze and organize lead data collected from various sources, ensuring accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations.
Optimization of Campaign Tracking: Develop strategies to enhance the tracking of user interactions and conversions, particularly from iOS devices.
Collaboration: Partner with marketing and analytics teams to ensure that the server-side tracking setup aligns with our overall marketing strategy and goals.
Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly monitor the performance of the server-side tracking system and provide insights and recommendations for improvements.
Stay Updated on Trends: Keep abreast of the latest developments in tracking technology, privacy regulations, and Google Ads updates to ensure best practices are followed.
Requirements:
Proven experience with server-side tracking implementations, especially for Google Ads.
Strong understanding of Google Ads and how data flows from tracking systems to reporting dashboards.
Familiarity with front-end and back-end development concepts, particularly related to tracking and data collection.
Knowledge of privacy regulations and their implications on tracking (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, iOS privacy changes).
Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret metrics to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics.
Background in digital marketing and understanding of advertising performance metrics.
Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript or Python for implementing tracking solutions.
