Overview

We are seeking a U.S.-based freelancer with extensive experience in setting up Shopify online stores to assist us in launching our new e-commerce venture. Our focus is on selling physical products, and we require an expert who can ensure the store is fully operational, user-friendly, and integrated with necessary payment processing systems.
Responsibilities

    Product Listing: Assist in setting up the structure for product listings. We will handle the actual upload of descriptions, images, and catalog categories.
    Inventory Management: Implement an inventory management system that accommodates both inventory-tracked products and one-off or small batch items.
    Payment Processing Integration: Set up and integrate credit card and PayPal payment methods. Experience with Venmo integration is a plus.
    Etsy Integration: Provide guidance on integrating the Shopify store with an Etsy store, if possible.
    Additional Sales Channels: Explore and advise on the possibility of integrating with TikTok Shop and managing pop-up sales through the Shopify system.
    Store Design: Refine and finalize the initial design using our logo and color scheme to ensure a consistent brand image.
    Multi-product Handling: Prepare the store for future additions, such as laser-engraved items, sublimation products, and UV-printed items.

Requirements

    Shopify Expertise: Proven experience in setting up and managing Shopify stores.
    Inventory Management: Familiarity with inventory management systems that cater to diverse product types.
    Payment Processing: Experience with integrating credit card, PayPal, and preferably Venmo into Shopify stores.
    E-commerce Integration: Knowledge of integrating other e-commerce platforms, such as Etsy.
    Technical Skills: Proficiency in handling technical aspects of setting up an online store, including but not limited to inventory systems, payment gateways, and multi-channel sales.
    Design Skills: Ability to implement and refine store design to match our brand guidelines.
    Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively and provide clear instructions or advice.

Preferred Skills

    Etsy and TikTok Shop Integration: Experience with integrating Shopify stores with Etsy and TikTok Shop.
    Multi-product Expertise: Understanding of handling and setting up diverse product types and categories in an e-commerce store.
    Pop-up Sales Management: Experience in setting up systems to manage sales from pop-up events through Shopify.
