Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Kubernetes Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and upgrading Kubernetes clusters and deployments, with a preference for experience with supported variants such as IBM/Red Hat Open Shift.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    Manage Kubernetes capacity and availability.
    Implement solutions to leverage Open Shift/Kubernetes clusters, configure peripherals and services, manage settings and storage, deploy cloud-native applications, and monitor and support the Open Shift/Kubernetes environment.
    Maintain and enhance cloud computing and infrastructure management.
    Perform technical tasks related to Linux and virtualization technologies for application deployment and operations, including RHEL, Red Hat Virtualization, VM Ware vS phere, KVM, etc.
    Utilize advanced skills in scripting, Linux command line tools, and build and monitoring tools such as Shell scripts, Linux command line, Jenkins, Nexus, etc.
    Administer Linux systems with skills in networking, IP, DNS, DHCP, containers, and package management.
    Onboard projects with hands-on experience.
    Work with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
    Apply knowledge of cloud concepts including networking, security, monitoring, and debugging.

Qualifications:

    Proficiency in Kubernetes capacity and availability management.
    Experience with Open Shift/Kubernetes clusters and cloud-native applications deployment.
    Strong background in cloud computing and infrastructure management.
    Technical expertise with Linux and virtualization technologies.
    Advanced scripting and Linux command line tool skills.
    Experience with build and monitoring tools like Jenkins and Nexus.
    Solid Linux system administration skills, particularly in networking and containers.
    Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
    Understanding of cloud concepts such as networking, security, and monitoring.

Preferred Skills:

    Experience with IBM/Red Hat Open Shift.
    Proven track record of successful project on boarding.
    Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
