We are seeking a Magento 2 Developer Specialist who is comfortable occasionally being front-facing with clients. Responsibilities:

    Develop and maintain extensions for Magento Community and Magento Enterprise.
    Full-stack Magento development, ensuring scalability and alignment with business needs.
    Upgrade Magento systems as required.
    Integrate APIs with a strong understanding of best practices.
    Utilise version control proficiently using Git.
    Experience and understanding of using Docker for local environment development.
    Experience with Linux and deploying to servers.
    Commit to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code for seamless team integration.
    Can work autonomously and also in teams & sense of humour is a bonus :)
    Comfortable with working to a deadline and some basic estimation.

Highly Desirable Skills:

    Ability to work on other PHP-based projects, ensuring top-level efficiency in processes, communication, deployment, and security.
    Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, automate workflows, and ensure seamless integration and delivery of software projects.
    Experience with Laravel, developing APIs, writing PHP Unit tests, and integrating Swagger documentation.
    Frontend development skills in React and/or Angular.
    Proficiency in working with SOAP/REST in PHP projects and converting XML to JSON data.
    Experience with Shopify liquid templating.
    Experience in managing AWS environments.
    A good attitude and self-starter with a thirst for knowledge.

Qualifications:

    Extensive experience in PHP development with a focus on Magento 2 and a portfolio to demonstrate this.
    Proven track record of successful Magento 2 enterprise projects.
    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Excellent communication skills and a team player.
    Tertiary education in Computer Science or IT-related degree/training would be highly regarded.
