Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Docker, and cloud platforms such as GCP, DigitalOcean, or others, who also possesses extensive experience in deploying Magento applications. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support Magento applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities:

    Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent for GCP, DigitalOcean, or other cloud providers.
    Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment, testing, and monitoring of Magento applications and services.
    Containerize Magento applications using Docker and orchestrate containerized workloads using Kubernetes, ECS (for GCP), or similar tools.
    Collaborate with development teams to optimize Magento application performance, reliability, and scalability on GCP, DigitalOcean, or other cloud platforms.
    Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and security of Magento applications and infrastructure.
    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and performance for Magento applications on different cloud platforms.
    Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for Magento deployments on various cloud environments.
    Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to Magento and DevOps practices, and evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve our processes.
    Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the DevOps team.

Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
    10 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with at least 5 years of experience specifically deploying Magento applications.
    Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent for GCP, DigitalOcean, or other cloud providers.
    Extensive experience with Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, ECS (for GCP), or similar.
    In-depth knowledge of cloud services, ideally including GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, IAM, etc.) or DigitalOcean equivalents.
    Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or cloud-native alternatives.
    Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
    Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

    Certification such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Microsoft Azure equivalent.
    Experience with Magento architecture, deployment best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
    Experience with Magento Cloud or Magento Commerce Cloud.
    Familiarity with Magento-related technologies such as PHP, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and Varnish.
    Experience with performance monitoring and optimization tools for Magento applications.
