Job Description:

We are seeking a Freelance Fashion Designer & 3D Apparel Specialist to partner with us on the design and development of our debut clothing collection. This project-based role will focus on a single collection, with an opportunity for future collaboration on additional lines based on project success and alignment.
Key Responsibilities:

    Design Consultation: Work collaboratively with us to refine and finalize creative concepts for the collection.
    Design Specifications: Create comprehensive digital design specifications, detailing the style, cut, and other unique attributes of each piece.
    3D Renders: Develop realistic 3D visualizations of the designs to accurately showcase each piece.
    Digital Deliverables: Supply digital files, including 3D patterns and vector formats of the designs.
    Technical Package Preparation: Produce detailed tech packs with measurements, materials, and construction notes to guide manufacturers.
    Pattern Grading: Adjust patterns to fit various sizes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
    Fabric Knowledge (Optional): Advise on fabric choices and provide recommendations that align with the collection’s design and functionality.

Requirements:

    Proven expertise in fashion design and apparel technology.
    Proficiency in software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, CLO 3D, or equivalent tools.
    Solid understanding of fabrics and their applications in apparel design.
    Experience with tech pack creation and pattern grading.
    Demonstrated ability to create high-quality 3D renders for fashion items.
    Strong project management skills to meet deadlines and maintain quality throughout the project.

Project Details:

    Scope: One-time project for a single clothing collection.
    Compensation: Payment will be based on milestones for key deliverables (e.g., consultation, final design completion, tech pack delivery).
    Future Opportunities: Potential for future collaborations based on project success.
