Position: Social Media Manager

Company Overview:
We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to manage and curate an Instagram page for a street community in Bronte, Sydney. The page showcases approximately 15 businesses and aims to foster a vibrant community presence.

Responsibilities:

    Content Planning: Develop a content plan based on provided content from businesses and additional content created in line with a supplied brief.
    Posting Schedule: Post 3-5 times per week, including:
        Business-specific content (2-3 posts per week on rotation)
        Lifestyle posts about the area and community
        Text tiles for engagement
    Content Creation: Use the provided content and create engaging posts and stories. Feature all businesses in the “meet the street” series within the first two weeks.
    Scheduling: Utilize a scheduling tool such as Later or an equivalent to schedule posts. Ensure each business reviews content before posting.
    Community Management: Handle chat messages and interactions on the Instagram page.
    Reporting: Provide insights on post performance and engagement.

Requirements:

    Experience: Proven experience managing social media accounts, ideally Instagram, with a focus on community and business engagement.
    Skills: Strong content creation and curation skills, with an eye for detail and creativity.
    Tools: Proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g., Later) and familiarity with Instagram’s features.
    Location: While remote work is acceptable, Sydney-based candidates are preferred.
