Are you a creative visionary with a passion for bringing stories to life through stunning book designs? The 1 and Only Publishing is seeking a talented Book Designer and eBook Formatter to join our team and help empower believers to share their messages through beautifully crafted books!
Position Summary:

As our Book Designer and eBook Formatter, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of our authors’ works. You will be responsible for designing 4-5 books per week, ensuring they not only look great but are also formatted for both print and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:

    Create aesthetically pleasing and market-ready book covers and interior layouts.
    Format eBooks to ensure they are visually engaging and compatible across multiple devices.
    Collaborate with authors and the editorial team to capture the essence of each book in its design.
    Maintain a consistent style in line with our publishing standards while accommodating diverse author styles.

Qualifications:

    Proven experience as a book designer and eBook formatter (2+ years preferred).
    Proficiency in design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
    Experience with eBook formatting tools such as Calibre or Sigil is a plus.
    Strong understanding of print production processes and digital publishing standards.
    Creative flair with an eye for typography, color, and layout.
    Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
    Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
