We are seeking an experienced accountant to prepare and submit tax returns for three Australian-based companies. The role requires a strong understanding of Australian tax law and regulations, with an emphasis on maximizing deductions and claims for an occupational therapy business.
Companies:

    Company 1:
        No trading, no revenue, no expenses in the past 12 months.
        1 Financial year.

    Company 2:
        No trading, no revenue, no expenses in the past 12 months.
        1 Financial year.

    Company 3:
        An occupational therapy business with two clinics, 7 staff, and approximately $500K revenue.
        3 financial years.

Responsibilities:

    Prepare and submit tax returns for all three companies.
    Aggressively pursue all possible claims and deductions for the occupational therapy business.
    Review and advise on bookkeeping procedures.
    Provide financial advice for the upcoming financial year.

Requirements:

    Proven experience with Australian tax law and regulations.
    Strong background in accounting for small to medium-sized businesses.
    Ability to identify and maximize tax deductions and claims.
    Excellent communication and advisory skills.
