Hello there!

We are seeking an experienced developer to help refashion our current website solution into something more sustainable and cohesive. Currently, we have a WordPress site hosting the majority of our non-ecommerce solutions and a Shopify store managing our ecommerce needs. While this setup works, it's somewhat disjointed, and we aim to improve it.

Project Overview:

    Platform Continuity:
        Keep using Shopify for ecommerce due to its seamless integration and ease of fulfillment.
        Maintain and possibly integrate the non-ecommerce aspects of the WordPress site more effectively with Shopify.

    Fulfillment Management:
        Our sales are currently fulfilled through a third-party warehouse in the US, and we will soon be fulfilling from the EU through Shopify as well.

    Website Redesign:
        A full redesign of our website and store is required. We are rebranding our board game company into something more grand and need the front face of our company to reflect this transformation.
        The new design should be user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for performance.

Requirements:

    Extensive experience with both Shopify and WordPress.
    Strong understanding of ecommerce solutions, particularly Shopify.
    Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid for Shopify customization.
    Ability to design and implement a cohesive, visually appealing website.
    Experience with third-party integrations and fulfillment solutions.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Strong communication skills for ongoing support and collaboration.

On-going Work:

    Once the website is built, we need ongoing support on a monthly basis.
    Frequent and trustworthy communication will be a must.

Note:

    The job will start in about a month, but we are looking to screen potential candidates right now.
    As a former full-stack website developer with 15 years of experience on Shopify and WordPress, I will have higher scrutiny than a typical client, but I acknowledge and respect the complexities involved.
