We are seeking a talented and creative interior designer for our new construction lake house project. Currently, we have an architectural floor plan and are ready to start designing the interior. This project involves creating a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing design that includes style, materials, finishes, furniture, and decor. While we are considering a modern rustic design, we are open to different ideas and styles that will enhance the beauty and functionality of our lake house.
Responsibilities:

    Concept Development: Collaborate with us to develop a comprehensive design concept that aligns with our vision and lifestyle.
    Style Selection: Provide multiple design style options, including modern rustic and other suitable styles.
    Material & Finish Selection: Recommend high-quality materials and finishes for flooring, walls, cabinetry, and other interior elements.
    Furniture & Decor: Select and source furniture, lighting, and decor items that complement the overall design.
    Space Planning: Create detailed space plans that maximize functionality and aesthetic appeal.
    Visualization: Provide 3D renderings and mood boards to visualize the design concepts.
    Project Management: Oversee the implementation of the design, coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
    Revisions: Be open to making revisions based on feedback to achieve the desired outcome.

Requirements:

    Experience: Proven experience in interior design, particularly in residential projects. Experience with lake houses or similar properties is a plus.
    Design Skills: Strong understanding of different design styles, especially modern rustic. Ability to create visually appealing and functional spaces.
    Software Proficiency: Proficiency in design software such as Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Rev it, or similar tools.
    Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail in selecting materials, finishes, and decor.
    Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with clients and contractors.
    Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects, with a focus on residential designs.
