Overview: We are a well-established company based in the USA, primarily operating within the country, with sales through our website and online marketplaces like Amazon and Walmart. We are seeking an experienced finance specialist with expertise in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) or direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales. The ideal candidate will provide financial analysis, project potential risks related to debt levels, and help anticipate and mitigate future financial risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze financial projections for CPG products sold through D2C channels, FBA, and online marketplaces.
Identify and assess potential risk exposure related to debt levels and other liabilities.
Provide insights into financial performance, including revenue, cash flow, gross margin, and profitability trends.
Monitor and analyze fulfillment costs, shipping expenses, and storage fees related to FBA and other marketplaces.
Assist in evaluating inventory management strategies to balance cash flow and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial strategies align with broader business goals.
Anticipate future risks and provide actionable recommendations to reduce financial exposure, ensuring the company’s long-term financial health.
Provide monthly and quarterly financial reports with a focus on risk management and debt analysis.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in financial analysis with a strong focus on CPG, D2C, and FBA sales models.
Experience working with online marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, and other e-commerce platforms.
Strong understanding of debt management, financial risk analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
Expertise in analyzing fulfillment-related financials, including FBA fees, shipping, and storage costs.
Familiarity with inventory management strategies and how they impact financial projections.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to present complex financial data in a clear and actionable way.
Proficiency in financial modeling software, Excel, and financial planning tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) finance.
Prior experience with companies using FBA or D2C sales channels.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; certifications such as CFA or CPA are a plus.
