Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tableau Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, analytics, and business intelligence, with a specific focus on leveraging Tableau to deliver insightful and actionable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

    Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reports that meet business requirements and drive decision-making.
    Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical specifications for Tableau solutions.
    Optimize Tableau dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, and standardization.
    Develop and implement best practices for data management, dashboard design, and performance optimization.
    Integrate Tableau with various data sources, including databases, data warehouses, and other BI tools.
    Provide expertise in the development and implementation of new Tableau features and capabilities.
    Conduct regular reviews and analyses of existing dashboards to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
    Mentor and provide guidance to junior Tableau developers and analysts.
    Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Tableau and data visualization technologies.
    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau performance, data integrity, and other related challenges.

Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and implementing Tableau solutions.
    Proven expertise in creating complex Tableau dashboards and reports, including advanced calculations, parameters, and visualizations.
    Strong understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
    Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and integrating Tableau with various data sources.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload to meet deadlines.
    Tableau certification is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

    Experience with other BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik View, or Micro Strategy.
    Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R.
    Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
    Experience in the healthcare, finance, or retail industries is a plus.
