Project Overview:

We are looking to collaborate with a talented and creative Furniture Designer to help us design a new piece of soft furniture for children that aligns with our brand's vision. The ideal partner will bring fresh ideas and expertise to ensure the final product is functional, safe, and visually appealing.

Responsibilities:

    Conceptual Design: Collaborate with our team to conceptualize and design an innovative piece of soft furniture.
    Detailed Work: Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes of the proposed designs.
    Safety & Functionality: Ensure that the designs meet functional, safety, and aesthetic standards for children’s furniture.
    Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative design solutions.

Requirements:

    Experience: Proven experience as a Furniture Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing soft furniture designs.
    Design Software: Excellent knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar.
    Ergonomics & Safety: Strong understanding of ergonomics and safety standards specific to children's furniture.
    Creative Thinking: Ability to translate concepts into practical and appealing designs.
    Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and functionality.

Preferred Qualifications:

    Children’s Furniture Experience: Experience in designing children’s or play furniture.
    Sustainable Practices: Familiarity with sustainable design practices and materials.
    Manufacturing Knowledge: Knowledge of the manufacturing process for soft furniture.
