About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team. As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on the Azure platform. You will collaborate closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth and efficient deployment and management of our cloud-based applications. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong experience in Azure cloud technologies and a passion for creating scalable and secure cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Implementation: Architect and deploy scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure using Azure services.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage Azure infrastructure using tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure Resource Manager.
Networking and Security: Configure and manage network components, including VNets, subnets, security groups, and VPNs. Ensure robust security practices are in place to protect cloud resources.
IAM Management: Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), roles, and policies to ensure proper access control and compliance.
Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain scripts for automation of cloud operations using languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
DevOps Practices: Work closely with the DevOps team to integrate and automate CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps practices.
Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability of cloud services. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and cost inefficiencies.
Collaboration and Support: Provide guidance and support to development and operations teams on best practices for cloud deployment and management.
Requirements:
Azure Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Azure infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure Resource Manager.
Networking and Security: Strong understanding of networking and security principles, including VNet peering, NSGs, firewalls, and encryption.
IAM Management: Experience managing IAM roles, policies, and access controls in Azure.
Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation tasks.
DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration tools.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a cloud environment.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Certification: Azure certification (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
